The Filipino Club House will host a community meeting to discuss fisheries, access, and local food security. Topics include freshwater loss, limu restoration, and small-boat fishing.

Annual Public Hunting Meeting
The Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, will meet at Kaunoa Senior Center (corner of 7th Street and Fraser Avenue) for a recap of 2025 and a preview of 2026 hunting seasons, aerial survey data, and management plans for the Lānaʻi Cooperative Game Management Area.

Applications for Hawai‘i Youth Food Council for the 25-26 school year are now open. HYFC is a statewide group of high school students working to improve school food, support local farmers and influence food policy. Open enrollment ends on October 10, 2025. Learn more.

The Lāna'i Domestic Violence Taskforce has launched its Financial Assistance Program to support residents experiencing domestic violence, with a focus on ensuring the safety of victims and their families. The program provides financial assistance and resources to help individuals in need. Paper applications and documents are available by emailing lanaidvtf@gmail.com or can be picked up at Women Helping Women, PACT or the Department of Human Services office.
